Winners!

The inaugural Play + Think = Win Competition! was held at the Boca Raton campus, in Fall 2018, and was organized by Prof. Anurag Katyal with help from Dr. Ozlem Ugurlu. Free for students, the contest was created with a goal of fostering a culture of problem solving in the student community at PBSC and also encourage students to think creatively. It was supported by a very generous donation to the Foundation from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous. For 10 weeks, three problems of varying difficulty were shared at www.playthinkwin.org, many of which were contributed by Dr. Ugurlu. 

For first place, Ms. Shira Rindsberg, a high school student, won a $200 gift card while Mr. Mustafa Basaran won a $125 gift card for second place and Ms. Cindy Romero took home a $75 gift card for third place. All winners also received books on problem solving that were generously donated by Princeton University Press and Dover Publications. The winners were all recognized at the campus wide holiday party hosted by the Boca Raton Provost, Dr. Bernadette Russell.
